Lāchers: A Salon’s Transformation

Situation

For over a decade, Lāchers has been a thriving full-service hair salon in Black Rock, CT. As a woman-owned, independent salon, its success was built on a foundation of organic growth—driven by a stellar reputation, word-of-mouth and deep customer loyalty across the tri-state area.

Despite this success, the business’ growth had plateaued. The salon’s visual identity & web presence grew tired, creating a disconnect between its brand image and its reputation. Prior to RSMC’s partnership with Lāchers, the owner recognized the need for a brand evolution with the creation of a new logo & visual assets but the demands of managing a full-service salon left Lāchers little bandwidth to implement a rebranding campaign. 

RSMC was brought in to lead her comprehensive brand recharge. The goal was to modernize Lāchers’ marketing and communications, revitalizing the brand’s online and offline presence to reflect its expertise while enhancing the salon’s overall customer experiences.

Solution

An immersive strategic planning process was initiated to build a long-term marketing plan. This defined the brand’s positioning, introduced Lāchers’ rebranding to the marketplace, and established an integrated cross-channel presence for client engagement. The brand’s voice was rejuvenated alongside a new look-and-feel, threaded through every touchpoint—from in-salon services, digital platforms to social media & the overall customer experience.
