Propelling the Virtual Into the Personal
Situation
In early 2021, a family faced a logistical challenge: how to celebrate their son’s bar mitzvah with a global network of family and friends—spanning from London, Madrid, Toronto, Caracas to Israel— during a period of social distancing. The goal was to move beyond the "screen" and create a genuinely personal, emotional connection that would honor this significant milestone.
Solution
We pivoted the family to a "Global Virtual Weekend" centered around a curated event box delivered to every guest's doorstep. Inspired by the son’s passion for supercars, the branding utilized a sleek Ferrari Rosso Corsa red and black palette with a coordinated typeface. The kit served as a tangible anchor extending a sensory experience to each of the guests’ virtual experiences. Each box was filled with an array of branded ceremonial essentials and treats including: Color-coordinated yarmulkes and Shabbat candles, logo stamped water bottles, wine tumblers & themed candies.
By delivering the celebration directly to guests’ homes, the family successfully transformed a virtual event into a tangible, shared experience. The project demonstrated that thoughtful branding and curated touchpoints can foster a powerful emotional scale.
